While we cognizant of Africa being the second largest tourism region in the world, employing over 21 million jobs and generating almost $22 billion revenue annually, there is a concern as to the participation of women across the value chain of tourism. Tourism sector remains male dominated across board. We therefore stand a tourism economic development initiator for women with focus to create collaborative projects beyond the shores of their own Countries.
